One Last Summer Skirt

Before the unofficial end of summer, I wanted to share on more skirt I made in June. I have a penchant for whimsical critter prints. Unicorns, frogs, butterflies, and carousel horses have all made an appearance my closet, just to name a few. Now add to that crickets!

I used a Heather Ross print from her latest fabric line to make a simple dirndl skirt. The skirt is two lengths of fabric gathered to a wide waistband that closest with snaps and a placket. All told, it took about 2 hours. Quick, easy, and fun to wear!
