And I'm back with the second installment of what I made for summer! I bet you all are thrilled. :)
First up is a little sundress inspired by a 50s pattern. I wanted something more modern, so I altered the pattern to make it vintage inspired rather than a straight reproduction. I drafted out the puffed sleeves and shortened the skirt significantly. Also, despite the fact the pattern was a size too small, I still had to take out quite a bit of the waistband to make it fit my narrow ribcage.
For the top, I splurged on a really cool Liberty print and the rest of the dress is teal cotton voile. The dress is light and comfy, and the crazy print makes me smile.
