A Fractured Fairytale

Don't worry, my 18th century Williamsburg wardrobe still holds the first place in my heart, but I will be attending a regency card party in February and I realized I have nothing to wear! Gasp! Its truly shocking but none of my regency dresses fit anymore and neither does my corset. I fell head over heels in love with this miniature the minute I saw it on Pinterest and knew it would have to be mine someday. With the card party coming up, clearly this is the perfect excuse for the dress.

So far I've ordered several swatches of fabric to find just the right blue-grey for the dress, and before I can start on the patterning I have to tackle a new pair of regency stays. Didn't I just finish a new corset? Bah!
